Play audiometry:
For children aged 3 to 7 years, play audiometry is an effective and child-friendly method of assessing hearing. The hearing test is presented in the form of games, making the examination easy, comfortable and enjoyable for young children. By turning the test into a playful activity, children are encouraged to cooperate naturally, allowing their hearing to be assessed reliably.
Otoacoustic emissions (OAEs):
Hearing function can be assessed automatically within just a few seconds using this advanced diagnostic test.
Otoacoustic emissions are particularly useful for very young children who are unable to cooperate with conventional hearing tests, as well as for children with autism or other difficulties with behavioral cooperation.
Tympanometry:
Tympanometry is used to evaluate middle-ear function and detect conditions affecting the middle ear.
The test can help determine whether fluid is present behind the eardrum, as may occur with otitis media (middle-ear infection or effusion). Depending on the findings and the clinical assessment, the appropriate treatment can then be considered, which may include medication or, when indicated, myringotomy with insertion of ventilation tubes (grommets).
Radiofrequency treatment for adenoids:
Bloodless removal of enlarged adenoids using radiofrequency (RF) technology at 4 MHz.
Radiofrequency treatment of adenoid vegetations is associated with minimal bleeding and discomfort, and the child can usually return home within a few hours after the procedure.
The procedure is performed at a specialized pediatric ENT center under a short anesthetic administered by a specialized pediatric anesthesiologist.
Radiofrequency treatment for tongue-tie:
Bloodless and virtually painless release of the lingual frenulum (tongue-tie), performed in the clinic in less than 10 minutes.
For children, radiofrequency technology with an extremely fine, hair-like electrode is a modern method for precise release of the lingual frenulum while minimizing trauma to the surrounding tissues.
The procedure is brief, and children can generally return to their normal activities immediately afterwards, with minimal discomfort.
